Ayahuasca is a sacred brew used in south America by Shamans. An Ayahuasca Shaman will drink the brew and use its powerful effects to contact the spirit world. Inside the spirit world the Shaman then learns the songs of various plants and tree spirits . Later he/she brings the songs back and sings them to the village for healing and spiritual connection. These songs are called Icaros. When someone wants to take Ayahusca under the supervison of a Shaman, the Shaman will sing the Icaros and the astral traveler will then use the melody to navigate the spiritual realm and will also follow it back to their body when the journey is over,
